Joe Bongiovanni

Joe has lived his whole life in Illinois, growing up in the northwestern suburb of Algonquin. He graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing with a specialization in Professional Selling and a Minor in Environmental Sciences. During his time at NIU, Joe became heavily involved in organizational leadership roles for numerous groups like the Collegiate Sales Advisory Board (CSAB), American Marketing Association (AMA) and Knights of Columbus.

After graduation, Joe worked a variety of odd jobs before being hired as the first employee for a local internet marketing start-up. His primary responsibilities were marketing and account management but soon grew to include all facets of running a small business. The 3 years at the company would prove to be an invaluable experience to prepare Joe for the next steps in his career. At the beginning of 2013, he was elected to a board position as Marketing Director for New Directions Addiction Recovery Services. Joe is also Public Relations Director for the Knights of Columbus in Algonquin and serves in leadership roles for a variety of civic and nonprofit organizations.

Throughout his career, Joe has been responsible for coordinating marketing efforts for clients in a variety industries like healthcare, professional services, home improvement, food service, retail, not-for-profit and more. His skill set has grown to include strengths like Leadership, Management, Web Development, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Management, E-Commerce Platforms, Email Campaigns, Video Production, and Graphic Design. In 2014, Joe started his own internet marketing agency, Frontier Marketing LLC, with the idea of providing small business owners with a professional marketing partner to grow their company.
