The Other Side is a sober bar in Crystal Lake, Illinois, where you can meet and socialize with others recovering from addiction in a safe, substance-free environment. This nonprofit organization and its members work together to provide a healthy and positive experience for members of the recovery community who miss having an active nightlife.
A casual lounge area features a pool table, ping pong tables, bag toss sets, darts, and video games, all available during regular operating hours. For larger events, The Other Side utilizes its professional lighting, sound system, and custom stage. The atmosphere is great for live music, karaoke, open mic nights, comedy, and dancing. Additionally, The Other Side hosts monthly events as well as member-led support groups that meet regularly.
